It is also known that extended periods of use and exposure to sulfur based ointment may cause dry skin. But the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages as sulfur treatments are the best treatment for a scabies infection.

Typically you would apply the creams overnight over the course of a 4-5 day period, this would be enough to kill the mites beneath your skin.
