A steam cleaner will certainly work at getting rid of scabies on furniture and carpeting but is not the best choice to get rid of scabies on your furnishing and in your home. This because you likely can not steam clean every single day. I would suggest getting some Benzarid scabies sprays which will kill any scabies mites within your entire home and prevent re-infestation.

You should only need a gallon to treat your entire home but be sure to use before and after scabies treatment and then use lightly daily over the course of a week to be on the safe side. If you have a family of 4 or bigger I would suggest getting more than a gallon!
